Fused sands of time form
bottles on a shelf; tai chi
apothecary.
Fused sands of time formed
emptiness of uselessness;
filled with starts and ends.
Bottles of tai chi
where potent dawns and dusks swirl
a cosmic perfume.
Apothecary:
remedies, distilled wisdom
of great mother’s all.
Troiku form. Written in honor of Beverly Crawford, a wonderful poet who has returned to The Mysterious Mother. I will miss you, Bev.
Carrie is the host of The Sunday Muse.
What a beautiful tribute, Lisa. 🌞

Thank you, Lisa. I just learned of Bev’s passing and it helps to know she’s still around, just in a different form than who she was.

Thanks, Shay. I’m in troiku mode for POPO2022 and so it seemed only natural to carry on for the TSM.

So very much of all returned to Mom Nature.
Sands and soil treasure holds
Recycled elements
for us and our offspring
What she left for us here
Intangibles, verses,
spent love, and memories
We miss you Beverly
but we’ll have those to keep

I am trying to wrap my head around the news. I had known Bev only for a year, since I started visiting dVerse pub, but the loss seems so personal. Her verses and her comments always brought a smile and that is how I would like to remember her. What a lovely tribute, Li. May she continue to bring smiles wherever she is. ❤️🙏🏼
