land, sea, or kingdom
whatever Earth’s type or place
they dream of outer space

land, sea, or kingdom
all exotic critters chafe
at chains of safe

whate’er type or place
dazzling us in wonder
when stage dims, they dream

they dream of outer space
play hopscotch on asteroids
twirl in vacuum’s grace
