#FF — The dangers of doodling

PHOTO PROMPT © Roger Bultot

It started with doodling on a long phone conversation. My mind was focused, but my hand took a journey on the paper. It began looping lines, first one color and then another. A form began to take shape. Then something strange happened. Just my finger started drawing white lines on the page! It looked like a playground now. Thumb and finger pushed away from each other and the page grew larger. My hand threw the page on the floor. The image was 3-D and growing. My foot joined in, tapping, until the watery mirror materialized. Both hands pulled me in.

This felt like a gently story with a spooky ending of being consumed in our own doodles and thoughts. Great escapism.

Ooh. Ours are similar. Yours is more sinister though. It reminds me of that video. What was it? “Take me on. Take on me.” Where the guy gets pulled into the drawing world in the cooler section of the grocery store. Anyway, good story.
