I was a cranky baby. The expired formula never set right. Thin and mewling, Mama did her best to soothe me with bouncing and sugar tits; even sneaking a thimble full of Daddy’s whiskey to give me once in awhile.
Mama and I spent most days in the back room off of the kitchen. Daddy eked out his inheritance rather than go to work, preferring to spend days peering out with his binoculars, fantasizing about the blond on the fifth floor across the way, from behind scraggly houseplants.
My crying intruded upon his fantasies. His one punch saved my life.

Since so many commented they wanted to know what happened next after reading last week’s story, “I Remember,” I decided to continue with the story. And no comments about the bouncing sugar tits allowed!

It’s understandable why she repressed those memories. They were there begging to come out through her art when she grew up. Unfortunately, that is often true. Excellent storytelling, Lisa.

Been doing pretty good, Max, thanks for asking. Have been writing this weekend, am submitting some poems to possibly get into another anthology. I have a Moon Sisters gathering on Monday and trying to pull something together for that also. Glad you are feeling better but sorry Jen is getting sick. I hope it skips Bailey.

That is awesome! Keep on doing it…I broke my old songs out this weekend…oh I wrote some bad ones…but some have promise. I’m trying to revisit them and maybe finish some.
Yea I also hope it skips him also. He had a root canal and taking antibiotics so maybe that will help.

This one is almost as mysterious as part one. Bouncing… I can’t imagine punching the baby saved her life. sugar… Did he have a Hawaiian Punch and settle down? I need more. TITS!!!!! Sorry. I couldn’t help it.
