I did have a nice (short) visit with family. I drove Monday & Tuesday, attended the funeral service on Tuesday, and drove home Wednesday & Thursday. Unfortunately (HA!!), I missed the snowstorm that moved in on Saturday.

Ken, I missed the part where you were going to a funeral. My condolences in the passing of the person. Am happy you had a nice visit with your family. We got hit with a storm here by the lake but heard that inland 50 miles or so got hit way worse. Good to have a white Christmas. It’s stayed cold here so maybe the snow will stay. How about your area?

We’ve had mid-30s the past couple of days,

But teens are on their way and then five degrees before it gets back to 30s for the weekend — and at least 4 in of snow with those low temps, so it should be a white Christmas.
