Contemplate and balance intention
Open light harmony’s attention
Nightingale will sing the tale at dawn
Juxtaposed against moon sky madness
Undulating pink ribbons go forth
Reaching, reaching, until gentle touch
Energizes the willing target

Kerfe, don’t you think witches get a bad rap? I like this movie directors depiction of them as benevolent and ordinary with some unusual skills. Thank you 🙂

They do in general, yes. Due to Christianity. But I feel like there are lots of good witches about these days. I like the magic in all of Miyazaki’s animation, which I think is true of Japanese art in general.

I keep getting this image of a mystical (non entertainment type) magician producing beauties.

Looks like a lovely animated film. And once again amazing how you created a poem, based on instructions!

Christian, it is a sweet movie as are most done by this director. There is an innocence that’s being lost in the world that his movies immortalize. About the forms, practice, practice, practice. Have you written any poetry? I bet you have.

Poetry? Jeez, I feel can barely write “regular stuff”! But thanks for your confidence in my writing skills anyway! 🙂

How fun to read your verse and see the trailer.
I actually read once that when riding a broom that the sweep part was actually in the front – the explaination was that in the night the straw was lit as a kind of ‘headlight’. 🙂

Oh my I don’t think I’d want to ride my broom straw first, especially if it was lit. I use the cat’s eyes for the front 🙂

I’m sure there would be a way now to use battery opperated ‘torches’ 😉
Or take that Halloween movie where the one gal rode the ‘Hoover’ ;D
