You have reached a quiet bamboo grove, where you will find an eclectic mix of nature, music, writing, and other creative arts. Tao-Talk is curated by a philosophical daoist who has thrown the net away.

My pleasure, Barbara. So far have been watering things, but that costs $$. We need rain bad.

You’ve done well Li. Both the plants you planted and the one nature contributed are doing well. I hope your redwoods survive and thrive

Sadje, thanks for the well-wishing on the redwoods. Poor little things have been through a lot but they keep on keepin on.

And that geranium is scented right. It’s known here to ward off ‘quitos. We love them !! But these don’t like me. You are so good. Lovely photos. Xoxo blessings.

I don’t know about the geranium, never tried to smell these, but now you know I will :) Didn’t know about the mosquito repellent either. Thank you, Selma.

All looks very nice, Lisa. Hope the smoke situation in your area is better today. It was better here in the morning but rapidly deteriorated in the afternoon. The sky literally looked yellowish – like you picture some post-apocalyptic scenery!

Oh my gosh, Christian, that’s not good news. How close is the fire to where you live? Things look pretty clear for smoke here and the weather has cooled right off.
