Shadorma Series Monet Ekphrastic

morning breaks
through with spirit song
veil lifts, clear,
no secrets,
spring proclaims its arrival
we all sing along

melting snow
from rooftop trickles
to greening
one season
relinquishes icy grip
spring sun blue cradle

leave stale air
take a walk with me!
mottled green
snow shadows
we crunch along the shore, deep
in conversation

Shadorma series as well as partly Ekphrastic to The lane in epinay, snow effect by Monet

And I know you know with all of your walks out in the crisp air. I can’t wait to air my house out.

Hi Lisa, I enjoyed your shadorma series. Minus the snow, these words represented the weather in my part of the globe- ‘veil lifts’ (it’s been hazy here for days), ‘Spring sun blue cradle and ‘Come walk with me’ (we took a walk after days) :)
