Amanita Dream
Figment is as figment does.
So what does a figment do?
It’s nil to you as first it dreams
to fit inside haiku. Then it seems
its vapor grows until it fills a room.
So pungent as you breathe it in
this mind-bending mushroom.

Lillian is today’s host for dVerse’ Quadrille Monday. Lillian wants us to write a quadrille form poem (44 words total, not including title) using the word figment.

You had me with the first line!

Hah! And I should have commented on the mind-bending mushroom —– a shroom to vroom you away until you see figments everywhere — and maybe the purple dragon kind! :)

Looks almost like the orange mushrooms of a fairy circle…don’t eat them- nasty stuff for sure!

Jules they are well-known psychedelic mushrooms. No worries, not interested in taking that kind of trip.
