Writing pen to paper
is a satisfying experience.
Sitting on the couch with
cuppajoe to my left
and a cotton-furred cat
to my right, I don’t even
mind when Mlady taps at
the pen and otherwise distracts
me with her cuteness.
Maybe she injects magic,
muse between the lines,
as is her way.

haha! I never minded either when my dog disturbed me when I was writing, oh what I’d give to have him back now, sadly he has passed over the rainbow bridge!

Carol Anne, I believe we take the power of pets for granted — until we have one of these moments. Sorry to hear about your dog’s passing. I still miss my little Chaun who passed in 2016.

:-) I get how a beloved pet can serve as a silent muse. :-)

Is this a picture of your kitty? If so, she looks so much like mine! Here’s a link to his page if you would like to meet him! https://regulargirldevos.com/rustys-story/

Dana, sorry so, that was one of the postcards in the pack. Here are my little ladies:

They are so pretty! I remember you showing Dotty on an exercise wheel.

Thanks, Dana. I’ll let them know you said so. Yes, Dotty still runs/walks daily on the exercise wheel :)
