Can you guess who I am?
Hints:
Matte, sparkled with prism upon flat or contoured
terrain; edged by windsways, pert chirps, your
grateful eyes under unshrouded bright.
Wavy, opaque cylinders drip away
gentle rhythm to my welcome
cameo that dispels
shivery moods
gloom flees
makes way
to feel, re-
embrace
hope.
Michelle Beauchamp, aka Mish, is today’s host of dVerse’ Quadrille Monday. Mish would like us to write a 44-word poem (minus title) using the word hint.

It all leads me beleive in icicles… wonderful

Some very unique descriptions that I really enjoyed, especially “your
grateful eyes under unshrouded bright”. And then you made a quadrille icicle or icicle quadrille. Love it!

I so adore the icicle shape of this poem, Lisa! 😍This part stood out to me; “cameo that dispels shivery moods/gloom flees/makes way to feel.” We can all use a bit of hope right now! 🩷🩷

I smiled when I saw the title as that angle did occur to me. So glad you went there and your shape poem was a hint as to the answer.

The weather you captured in your clip looks nice but cold. The icicle shape of your poem is pretty neat! :-)

Dwight, I like your guess. It was “warm” today at 32 today. It was single digits at least a few days last week, with wind chill in minuses… Thank you :)

You are welcome. On second thought, I believe it is an icicle!

I thought the answer was the title of my video, but honestly any guess I’ve seen so far has been great.

When I used to walk to school in winter, my friends and I were always looking for icicles. They never failed to charm. (K)

I remember happy times of walking to school with friends. They’ve got some big’ns hanging near the libary entrance that always capture my attention.
