I went back to a dream group today after a hiatus. It felt good.

I enjoyed the unique imagery of “nouns dancing puzzles.”

Are you part of a dream group? I have been deciphering dreams for a while with our dreamers.

I was for a couple of years then took hiatus. May be back to the group now, will see. Very awesome to hear you are part of a dream group, Truedessa. Would like to hear more about it.

I love the internal rhyme in title and cinquain, Lisa, ‘switch /stitch’ and the thought of stitching meaning together. It reminded me a bit of the book and film How to Make an American Quilt.

Kim, I just read the synopsis on wiki. Sounds like one to read/watch. The movie cast is fantastic!

Love the connection between ‘switch’ and ‘dancing’ ~ I enjoy square dancing ~ we hear the command ‘SWITCH’ many times, which sometimes causes me to stumble over my feet! And giggle.

HD, thanks so much for sharing that. Another cool connection.

How interesting. Do you interpret each others’ dreams?

It is, Dwight. We all bring dreams and we all help the dreamer find their own interpretation.

That would be a lot of fun! Maybe we should try that on d’Verse sometime!?

Dwight, not sure we could use actual dreams as it’s a little complicated. That said…. maybe we could do a prompt where we could give some various dream scenarios and we could write poems about what we guess is going on. Something like that? Good idea, Dwight!

I like how the first and last lines can go together, “return/to light”. Cool cinquain all around!

Robbie, thanks. I wonder if dreams alchemize darkness… to light?

That top image is intriguing. It has me thinking of a beautiful gemstone for a ring, but also something edible. 😋

Gia, I’m glad you’re intrigued by it. It was my attempt at creating a collage based on a dream I had. I was driving in a car and looked in the side rearview mirror and saw that glowing orb. Your guesses are good one :)

Wow! Now that you’ve described the dream, your piece is a great interpretation with clever use of materials. 🙌❤️
