Dwight, I do also. She is a rising star! Looking a little further, she left this band and has a new backing band and has made 2 albums with them.

It is nice to hear a different rendition of this song and I like Julianna’s voice. Thanks for the introduction, Lisa.

Julianna Riolino sounds great. I also love that Rickenbacker guitar she’s playing. I did not recall that Paul McCartney – perhaps not his most memorable, though with all the amazing songs this man was written, I guess one cane become spoiled. “Every Night” actually not a bad song, and Riolino surely did a nice job with her rendition.

Christian, thanks for checking her and her Rickenbacker out. I agree, that’s not a well-known Macca song, but I recognized the melody. Maybe from a solo album, pre-Wings? I’m hooked on her voice.

Yep, from Macca’s debut solo album! I guess the biggie from that one is “Maybe I’m Amazed,” though I like the live version from “Wings Over America” much more.
To me. Macca’s first album feels very DIY and somewhat underwhelming, especially when compared to the later music by The Beatles.

Is that the one with the ram on it or the table with cherries? Used to have both of those albums but can’t remember their chronology. I actually like both of those albums.

The one with the berries. “Ram” was Macca’s second solo outing.

There is so much to be said for minimally produced music. Just the words the voice the instruments. I love it

Thanks for the tip Li – a little Heresy – I think she has done a better job of it.

I can’t think whether that was a McCartney solo or a Wings song? Good cover though

I liked that a lot. Very simple, but you are right, there is something in her voice that is compelling. :0

Love her voice and she is quite appealing with that Rickenbacker in her hands! She did it really well Lisa!

She has a new band backing her now. I’ve shared a few from her new album in the past few months. Glad you enjoyed this one. Do you think she and the band did Macca justice?

Very much so. I probably like it better than the original. She did a good job on it.
