dVerse OLN 401 — Lost Again

A Public Garden with People Walking in the Rain

Lost Again

A snapshot may form an opinion.
For example, you may think fool,
you’re getting wet out there even
in friendly oblivious conversation.

Heads and tails are important.

We are marveling after long wait,
able to be in the gardens again
after white slates melt to puddles
falling from sky. Friend, oh why

you’d deny yourself for trickles,
trifles? Shiny pathways wind us
in banter, dungarees, galoshes;
revived, delighted in community.

Björn is today’s host of dVerse’ OpenLinkNight. Remember, this Saturday at 10 a.m. NYT we have our February LIVE dVerse, where you see and hear poets from the pub and read one of your poems among friends.

    Beautiful Love the last stanza which is almost like an invite to the shiny pathway, just dressing for the occasion.
