It’s been awhile since posting pics of Mlady and Dotty. I know Mlady looks fat in this picture. She is not fat. She is solid, but her fur is over 3″ long which makes her look bigger. Dotty is maintaining her size. That said, the two main lumps are growing and she is getting more new ones along her spine. It’s all on her left side, so she lays on her right side. I also have a faux sheepskin that is very cushiony that she sleeps on quite a bit which helps her also.

My Daughter In-Law’s mom passed away a few months ago. She was just a couple of years older than me. She went into the hospital for pneumonia but never came home. A horrible loss for my DIL and the rest of her family, who is very close. They organized a celebration of life gathering a couple of weeks ago. It was truly a healing celebration of who she was as a person. My granddaughter even sang a song about her during the gathering which was simply heartbreaking.

Along with the lovely program they handed out bookmarks that have a small flower that gets soaked in water that has seeds in it. The next pics are that flower. I will update this once the seeds sprout.

The last part of the post is an update on the dawn redwoods. As of this spring 3 of them survive. I gave one to the lady who gave me the seeds and one to her daughter, Cari, my fitness guru. I decided to put mine in a much bigger pot until I can figure out where to plant it. Cari created a lovely place for hers in her yard and even ordered a plaque to keep its history known. Not sure if the third one has been planted yet or not.
