Spring’s sun melts snow
Hawk’s shadow warns too late —
Seeds left uneaten.

Frank J. Tassone is the host of Haikai Challenge.  Frank says:
This week, write the haikai poem of you choice (haiku, senryu, haibun, tanka, haiga, renga, etc.) that alludes to the hawk (taka)

This is my second attempt at a haiga.  Any constructive criticism is welcome.

I read that a haiga was a haiku poets painting of everyday life. And to me your haiga does just that. A very seasonal painting of a specific locality.
