The challenge was to write a poem/story with no more than a total of 50 different words used.  I counted 53 total.  It was fun.

You have heard the story

of the croc and clock,

But have you heard the story

of the butterfly and peacock?

Molly and Polly went walking

one day in their summer frocks,

What did they find but a sunny

field filled with fey shamrocks.

The shamrocks sang

of faerie tea

served in toadstool cups.

Then in their hands each found one

and then they drank it up.

“Make a wish!” the shamrocks sang,

as sweet as pumpkin pie.

Then whoosh!

Turned Polly the peacock and Molly the butterfly.
