Abigail’s challenge for us today is to write a didactic cinquain.
Cats:
curious, independent
purring, watching, playing
— my heart is happy —
companions.
You have reached a quiet bamboo grove, where you will find an eclectic mix of nature, music, writing, and other creative arts. Tao-Talk is curated by a philosophical daoist who has thrown the net away.
Aww, sweet. 🐈

Happy indeed – they do something don’t they?

The Ancient Egyptians believed in the power of cats also. There is just something about a purring cat that is precious.

Masterfully done! Not only did you follow the rules to a T, but you have a healthy helping of alliteration… cats/curious(/companions), purring/playing, heart/happy. My daughter will like this one; she’s a cat lover too.

Thank you for the feedback, Abigail. Alliteration is starting words with the same letter? Glad you enjoyed it and that your daughter may as well :)
