Abigail’s challenge for us today is to write a didactic cinquain

 

Cats:

curious, independent

purring, watching, playing

—  my heart is happy —

companions.

      The Ancient Egyptians believed in the power of cats also. There is just something about a purring cat that is precious.

  3. Masterfully done! Not only did you follow the rules to a T, but you have a healthy helping of alliteration… cats/curious(/companions), purring/playing, heart/happy. My daughter will like this one; she’s a cat lover too.
