Twittering Tales #156 — Kitty!

Yes, I remember when we took the kids to Yellowstone, back when black bears roamed freely across the road; often blocking cars for handouts. Timmy was only 3 at the time. I recall looking back and seeing Timmy roll down the window, pointing and crying out, “Kitty! Kitty!”

            1. The thought definitely crossed my mind. You know, I really don’t like this feeling of having to be afraid of the weather. In the past if it rained, it was not given a thought. Nowadays I think “what if it never stops?”

    1. Ditto. Bears terrify me. There’s a bear living around the area where my older son’s apartment complex is, in the suburbs of GR. Younger son’s wife mentioned they were out walking in the park and hoped to catch a sighting. I said you really don’t want to come close enough for a sighting of a bear. She said, “It’s only a black bear, I’m not afraid.” I said, “Really? You should be.” Unreal!
