Through the mesh screen
Sifts gentle breeze
Cats watch birdies
Hopped feathered tease
Call from the trees
Chipmunks chirping
Pine cone burping
Red-tails lurking
Death watch flirting
To snatch ‘ere flees
Dandelion
Dots are smilin
As they’re dyin
‘Brellas flyin
On warm breeze
Sights sounds smells feels
Spring charms and heals
Pops wide soul squeals
In joyful zeal
As senses reel
I also ended up using rhyming words at the ends of the first and last stanzas that rhymed with the other lines in them.

For this week’s Lucky Dip, I have reached into my mystery bag and pulled out a Rhupunt. The topic is up to you!
Rhupunt is a Welsh poetry form. Here are the guidelines for the rhupunt:
- The form can be broken down into lines or stanzas
- Each line or stanza contains 3 to 5 sections
- Each section has 4 syllables
- All but the final section rhyme with each other
- The final section of each line or stanza rhymes with the final section of the other lines or stanzas
This sounds so melodious.

Do Chipmunks chirp?

Yes, they do. As a warning. Go to youtube and hear one. I just got back from a bike ride. As I rolled my bike up to the door, the chipmunk literally refused to move while sifting through the sunflower hulls. Unreal how tame (not pet tame, but unafraid tame) he is.

When I lived in NJ, I threw peanuts out for the squirrels all the time and every now and then one of those cute looking chipmunks would show up.
