I am not a fan of the block editor, I turned it off. Xxx

I think they are getting rid of our tried and true as of June 1 so you won’t be able to turn it off 😦

I hate it!

Oh, it says we can use the normal editors, if we want. Whew!

I feel that coming on also, as we should continue to have a choice.

He’s, if I had wanted to use that I would be using it….grrr I hate being forced to do something especially when I’m paying for something.

yes, for sure. Why can’t they leave it alone and let us choose which one to use. It’s been working so far.

I tried it and did not like it. Why can’t people leave well enough alone?

You’re a techie sort of person, so if you don’t like it, it worries me.

I didn’t like the block editor at all. It takes longer, getting rid of a link sucks, and I don’t like being forced to do something.
When I did my baseball site I was forced to use it. I learned how for the most part but still didn’t like it.

I blog from my iPhone and the block editor does not work on an iPhone (well, doesn’t work very well, anyway). If the only option available is the block editor, that might be enough for me to call it quits and to hang up my blogging spurs.

No Fandango! I think it says you can choose “classic block” and it is like this version. I don’t know. But please don’t call it quits. You would miss your BlogFam too much.

I would, you’re right.

Like many people have said already, I tried the new editor and didn’t like it, so went back to using the old one. What a shame. If I have no choice, I will try to get used to it. 🙂

Glad for your input. I’m going to try to use it and see what happens. I really hope it works out.

I hope so too 🙂

I tried it on one of my blogs but after awhile I can’t stand it. It slowed me down and inserting verbage after a photo is almost impossible. Formatting is harder than ever and fonts are gone. It’s time consuming. They need to leave well enough alone.

Ugh 😦 I thought I saw where it had a larger array of fonts to choose from? I like simple formatting; this seems anything but simple.

I hated the block. I hope we can continue the old one somehow…I have a slow learning curve with tech but I’m not averse to change that is clearer and simpler. Unfortunately, it hardly ever is. We’ll see how long it takes me to figure it out. (K)

ditto on learning curve and wait and see…

Oh noooooo! I’m not a fan of the block editor at all. I don’t want June to come at all. ☹️

I haven’t heard many say anything good about it that’s for sure 😦
