POPO2022 day 13 — morning glories

morning’s glory comes
flat, still shadows slink away
nature’s palette arise

morning’s glory comes
the faithful’s known miracle
balm for desperate

shadows slink away
their dread-filled pools abandoned
as hope tiptoes in

nature’s palette rise
rose, butter, tangerine sky
e’er fresh gift for life
